OK but if you land harder punches you discourage your opponent.. therefore putting him on the defensive and allowing you to throw and subsequently land more punches which then dish out more damage.. simple math my friend

Nah, PW wouldve gotten stopped in the first fight with Quintana..He was landing bombs on his chin all night and cutting up his face..Add some plaster you got yourself a recipe for a KO, sir...

u overrate how much damage plaster really does. cotto has been hurt in past fights, williams never has. margarito is a bigger puncher than quintana too, and eighter way it was really the pressure that did him in.

williams fought margarito ffs, he took the same plaster shots cotto did.

Ill start off by saying my boy Shane wouldve whooped Margos ass any day of the week regardless if he was loaded or not..But yes ill admit its not known how things wouldve gone if margo came in loaded.

With that said.

I wont even speculate on Cotto. But the whole argument of so and so took "plaster" and wasnt effected is a weak one. For example, ppl will say PW took plaster from Margo so he must be a beast..Well subsequent to that fight PW got his ears boxed off by Quintana who some say is a "c-class" fighter. So what wouldve happened if Quintana came in loaded for that fight? Especially since Quintana was able to badly cut PW and discourage him. Imo, PW's face wouldve looked like hamburger meat. No doubt in my mind he wouldve gotten stopped...Anybody see my point here?

i dont think cintron seems to be fine. seems like he had some sort of breakdown doing gay ass moves in the ring and ****. probably to this day breaks down in tears anytime he sees a mullet. dude is mentally scarred for life.

Im not overrating anything..Im merely pointing out the fact that if styles make fights then adding something like loaded gloves changes the dynamic too..Regardless of all that..Ive already made my point.

The thread starter is totally right Mosley style/gameplan> Marg loaded or not. Plaster takes to the mid rounds to harden, Mosley had Marg not even throwing back shots at the late stages rds 8/9. So really even with plaster Marg wasn't hitting or even throwing enough to hurt him with plaster, prob wasn't throwing due to the huge bombs Mosley was putting on him..

Connection rate tells a huge story 5% less vs Mosley fight even tho he threw over 500 more punches vs Cotto. Ts got it all right
