both guys will physicaly try to impose themself on the other and you rarely get those type of fights. I dont think Cotto will be on the move like he was against Margarito, or atleast not for the 1st half of this fight. I think he will either come forward or stand right in the middle for a battle. I think Clottey's mindset from the jump will be to come forward and walk Cotto down. Thats why I think that Cotto may box some but we will see alot of toe to toe fighting with both guys trying to impose there will on the other. I think it could be a slightly different version of Chico-Castillo. It probably wont be that good and that much action but I think it will be a poor man's version of it. Alot of both guys being right in the Center, not going forward but just standing and trading. Cotto throws a mad combo while Clottey covers and then Clottey comes back with a mad combo. It will be the battle of the combos. I think both guys will throw more combos then they will single punches.
The flip side is that Cotto could try to put handcuffs on Clottey and that would probably be the strategy for most people. By that I mean Clottey always locks into his D and covers up when you throw. That means Cotto could just throw a 3 or 4 punch combo and then move out when Clottey is ready to return fire. However, I think that Clottey comes faster then alot of people think and he will apply alot of pressure. If Cotto fights that way then I could see him killing Clottey early but Clottey wearing him down late as Cotto runs out of gas. Clottey will win that fight. It may sound crazy but I think if Cotto boxes then he will lose but if he warriors up then its a 50/50 fight and maybe better for Cotto. He may not want to get in another tough fight like that but he's the kind of puncher and boxer that can catch the judges eye with his stuff. If he moves then he will wear down late against Clottey's pressure. It would be just like the N'Dou fight except Clottey is better
