Why do you like Boxing?

Always has me watching Trinidad and has me watching Cotto since his pro debut.

As far as boxing myself....it just always interested me so I started doing it one day and haven't stopped since.

back to topic:

i was born in mid 80s. i started to get into boxing in mid to late 90s. i just like the one who always attacking and looking for the KO.

Cant remember when I started watching Boxing , I was young maybe 10 or 11 and just loved it , but the first major fight I remember watching was Forman/Moorer live on HBO , I got the butterflies watching that fight , and I was hooked for life , I remember my Mom would always ask me why I watched boxing , she thought it was weird for a someone my age to love the sport so much , but it was cool cuz my Mom still let me watch it anyway !!

Right, basically... a lot of tension and **** around here lately... a lot of nut hugging and hating, so I thought I would make a thread which is different to everything else so we got something that we can all agree on, that Boxing is the best sport out there...

So, explain why you truly like Boxing... how you got into it, what it is most you like about it and why you think it is the best sport out there...

Like it is often called, a science. Anyone can throw a punch but there are so many ways to approach an attack or defensive strategy depending on wht is being presented to you.

I love boxing because the script is unmatched by no other sport. The come from behind victories and knockouts can give you a heart attack. Lastly i think the greatest thing about boxing is the "Ring of truth" in which the fight is fought. I think that hbo 24/ narrator captures what am trying to say, "In this ring the truth will find you". Something along those lines lol

I Like boxing 'cause my mother used too watch boxing late in night and i always watched with her. Now i watch it alone, in my country i am one of the few boxing fans.

If you come to a four way intersection and you have on on side a bunch of people playing foot ball and on one side a couple of guys playing golf and the other side some guys playing basket ball and the last side of the four way you got two guys fighting ......Which one are you gonna watch?
