He (Clottey) and Mosley experience similiar weight issues.

A Shane Mosley rematch or a fight with Paul Williams will tell us that. This fight won't. I think people are overrating Clottey too much. He's a good fighter, but he isn't on the elite level. The guy is not mentally strong. He wanted to quit on his stool against Margarito until his corner had to convince him to come out for the next round. Plenty of fighters have fought through hand injuries like Delvin Rodriguez, Arturo Gatti, and Floyd Mayweather even. And once Cotto wins this fight I expect him to not lower his competition. I don't want to see anymore bums like Jennings and Gomez.

Clotty has bad posture and slouches.. as soon as he straightened his back out he was taller, not on his toes.

Do you know how much it hurts to have broken hands? I don't but if it was enough to make Clottey almost quit I think it must hurt bad.

I love all the stories that come up before a big fight. The arguments on who is taller, appears weight drained etc lol. Tomorrow will be an eye opener for many here. If Clottey wins it will look just as bad for Cotto since as people here say he is having weight issues. If he loses the excuse is already out that he looked thin at weigh in lol I love boxing scene !!!

I wouldn't be worried, it just means that Clottey is maximizing his weight cutting. Expect him to look like a 165 pound freak tomorrow night.

Hopefully this doesn't screw him over on fight night.

Not worried about that. You need 5'11 plus 6 inch reach to be able to beat him.

When I saw the post-fight interview of that match I looked at Clottey's hands and I couldn't tell anything wrong with them. He's a dark-colored African though, so that probably had something to do with it. Lol. And when Margarito showed his hand it looked like his knuckles were all swollen and he had a scab on one of them as well. It could've been from the plaster of paris though. But if Margarito was injured like that he deserves credit for gutting it out more than Clottey did. I'm not defending him however, because I know that he is a non factor because of the cheating stunt that he has pulled and the royal ass whipping that he took from Shane. He also deserves to be left in the gutter for refusing to give Paul Williams the rematch he deserved.

Oh yeah, I know it's not a real factor. But the biased leaking on these forums are a little aggravating.
