Close one! Rafa Marquez in auto accident!

Two-time former world champion Rafael Marquez was slightly injured in an auto accident this early morning in Mexico City on the way to the airport to catch a plane to New York, where he was to receive a professional recognition. Apparently his vehicle overturned, but he did not sustain any serious injuries and will continue training at La Romanza Gym with Nacho Beristain. Raffa won his last fight on May 23 in Monterrey, Mexico with a three round KO of Colombian Pegoņo Mendoza and is expected to land a title shot soon.
