  • Boxing VS UFC - Who Has Better Promotions/Events?

Honestly. Just in terms of presentation not the sport . I say UFC has the momentum and trendiness right now. They have better exposure with Ultimate Fighter. WEC on The VS Channel. All we have is Friday Night Fights and HBO/Showtime randomly putting cards on. Also, they try to stack there cards for there PPVs.

UFC/MMA fans get more **** for thier buck, and that's why they continue to grow. Boxing is slowly turning into a soap opera for men.

its relative to how much the main event costs... boxing main event fighters get paid a hell of a lot more than mma, thats why there isnt alot of money left over for better undercards....

i agree with the soap opera aspect. people bitching too much about their value and what they deserve and who is the bigger star. **** the bull****. settle it all in the ring. show who is king of the ring - in the friggin' ring.

Yes, but at the end of the day, its the fans in boxing who suffer, while these mma fans go home drunk and happy because they feel they've gotten thier money's worth most of the time.

In boxing we usually get 3 ****ty undercards and a main even. Sometimes even the main event turns out to be crap.

In ufc/mma, you get about 6 fights, in which maybe 3 of them are championship fights with belts on the line. Even if the main event falls short of expectations, most of the time the undercard fights are action packed.

Im a boxing fan before im an mma fan, but this is the reality of both sports as it stands.

            good point.

not that i only care about ko's but they are fun to see.

i'd rather see 6 ko's then 3 ****ty undercards and 1 wack main event.

but if a boxing ppv and ufc ppv are on at the same time, i buy the boxing one.

Yeah because the MMA fans never boo the **** out of every single event, plus the soap opera crap is WWE and the UFC/MMA follows that same blue print.

3 Championship fights on one card? I don't think that's ever happened especially not in the past 5 years. Keep making **** up though.
