I didn't realise he was the brother of Joe Murray.

I hope John gets a big chance after this fight.

Just my luck... the article posts this morning, mere minutes before he loses his national title at the scales by a few ounces. Hopefully he still takes care of business tomorrow, and can still proceed as planned with Thaxton and then a world title.

If he fights Thaxton, I think he gets knocked out.

I like Murray hes my favourite current British fighter, hes a bit up and down, he can be brilliant at times and other times he's just not there. I think his promoter is to blame, he was the young fighter of the year a couple of years ago and should have been pushing for a European title back then. I am sure he will batter Thaxton then win a European shot, the lightweight division is pretty weak at the moment after the two big boys have left and he might be able to squeeze a world title out, Murray is very underrated hes a very good body puncher.
