^Wouldn't surprise me if it happened, lol.

all joking aside, after losing to Mayweather and having two "throw away" fights vs Lazcano + Malignaggi look how arrogant Hatton was going into the Pacquiao fight. (i.e. all the excessive pre fight trash talk)

I wonder where Hatton is realistically in regards to how he feels in line with fighting for the Pound For Pound #1

after all the dust clears I mean.

He was going to retire before he turns 31, he needs a send-off fight.

I'm glad he's taking his time, its a big decision. If he says he's going to retire, then he will. He wont take a year of and have a comeback fight like some do.

I want one, maybe 2 more fights. Witter and Khan would be good. Hell, if he can win both, then go for Bradley or JMM and then retire. Just typing that out I've already seen the danger though, if he fights on, wins a couple of fights, then that could mean real trouble, his punch resistance is gone, and this is a dangerous sport. One more bad KO could be life changing in a real bad way.

**** it, its his life, i'll support him either way.

He can realistically still clean up @ 140. Bradley, Kotelnik (should he get passed Khan) who else? is the other champ Urango? Hell he's beat him already. Then Witter. I say unify lightwelter then retire. Just stay away from the elite fighters. Pacquiao and Mayweather are the best guys on the planet, doesn't make Hatton any less of a man losing to those two. Especially not when he made probably 10-15 million out of them.

The problem is, that no one takes defeat quite as badly as Hatton, to the point that his pride will never let him forget it.. I believe he is now mentally shot as a fighter and I hope he's brave enough to call it a day.. I wish him all the best...
