Is this to discredit Clottey's toughness?Are u going to stoop that low just to try to prove Clottey isnt as good as Cotto!!Thats pretty pathetic,Clottey is as good as Cotto,Mosely and any other top welterweight buddy!!!

after that loss margarito started knocking everyone out.assumptions, fine. Clottey lacks knockout power and it's evident in his knockout percentage. I agree Clottey is a very strong fighter just not strong enough. I'm not trying to argue, this is just my opinion and well find out in just a few days but I still stand the Cotto will win.

not really, he hadn't loss in the longest until the williams fight. it's very pausible that after that fight he made the decision to start using the wraps to not lose again..
I don't think he used them against Johnson, who was a tune up or Cintron honestly.. They weren't much of a threat to Margo, especially since he had beat Cintron once before.
If he used them against Mosley, a fight that wasn't as big or supposed to be as tough as the Cotto fight then I don't see why he wouldn't use them in the biggest fight of his life though.

clottey stood there with margarito but margarito wasent that strong look at his body in that fight and look at margaritos body in cotto fight lot more stronguer and cotto take him to school to the first 8 rounds then cotto got tired but anyway look at clotteys hands when his is fighting they are way up living space to cotto easily hit him with left hooks to the body wich he could get a ko win and he fights like a robot he dosent have head and much body movement he will get hit . cotto ko 11

I actually do believe Margarito started loading them after Williams, not because of what was at stake but if you look at Williams, he cuts easily if you look at the Quintana and Phillips fight, guess what, he was cut (in the Quintana fight on both eyes and Phillips was a head clash I know), If Margarito would have been using the pads against Williams he would have made Williams face a mess and would've gotten him all bloodied up, because if you see who also cuts easily? That's right Cotto does, and look at how busted up and bloodied Cotto was in that fight, Williams would have been bloodied up the same or even worse.
