Fighting poor competition = green at world class level in my book, I don't know about you. Ricky had some decent wins after Tszyu, I'm just not sure he had any/very many prior.

Well someone that by the quality of his posts hasn't attended much school, certainly won't admit that he's been (schooled,) I agree.

Anyway, garbage thread. I'm out, seriously this time.

Boxing will never be dominated by one country, ever again, IMO. And you certainly can't claim dominance if you never leave yours.

in his defense , he was with frank warren early in his career.

before tszyu , the only wins i can think of ricky had against guys i've heard of was oliveira , phillips and tackie. don't know how much credit to give for those wins though......

That is some stellar logic there. Meet future heavyweight champion of the world Arnakua'gsak Pukkeenegak

Damnit, I want out of this thread, lol. Well obviously he was given enough credit to warrant a shot at Tszyu. One thing is for sure, Ricky's experience (on a world level) was a fair bit greater by the time Floyd fought him than just after he'd beaten Kostya. Just not sure why the fight couldn't have been at 140, where Floyd would've received more credit.

Which Glen Johnson was better? The one that fought Hopkins, or the one that fought RJJ?

                Hey squeal.

Alaska has produced Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Roy Jones, Joe Louis and countless other greats.

                The man has a point.

Every great fighter in American history has atleast a little bit of Eskimo blood flowing through their veins.

That is how I judge prospects in the US, if they lack Eskimo blood they will never ammount to anything. If a fighter is atleast a little Eskimo he is destined for greatness.
