Why is arum trying to make a fight with froch and pavlik what happened to king arthur abraham

I thought Pavlik would stay at middleweight. If so, WHY IS the Abraham fight not happening? Can ANY boxing fan seriously say that they don't want to see that fight?

Anyways, I'd love to see Pavlik v. Froch too.

Why wouldnt they have made him fight Sturm in the first place instead of Mora...before sturm had his fight in july. Now he has to wait all the way til October. That means an Abraham fight might not be til 2010 if he doesn't fight froch. Arum really doesn't want Pavlik to fight Abraham does he? Pavlik should lose that dude.

There could be a million reasons why that fight is not mentioned. It may be financial issues, time tables etc.

I actually think Sturm is a more dangerous opponent for Pavlik. Sturm can box and give angles. Abraham is all forward or backward depending upon if his opponent is punching.

I would have preferred Abraham over Froch though. Froch is a tough fight for sure, but I wanted to see how Pavlik fought Abraham. Would Pavlik be wary and use his jab more, or would he all out attack like he did against Miranda.

We may never know now, at least at middleweight anyway.

After Froch beating down Taylor it put a new twist in the game. The only fight wanted before froch that everyone wanted to see is AA and KP. Froch became a new player. Id like to see Froch PAvlik.
