I always thought this stoppage was kind of strange.

Genaro was clearly losing every round, fairly big, but... it's not like he was getting crushed by bombs every time he looked up. His head wasn't snapping back. He just looked like he was being outclassed.

I also thought it was strange how much HBO agreed with the stoppage as a life-saving move. Foreman was talking about how your life is more important than a title.

Damn good showcase for Mayweather though, he looked terrific that night, albeit a bit boring, considering it was in his days with his dad when Roger hadn't tuned his offense up yet.
