I honestly don't think anyone would accuse PBF of cherry picking Pacquiao. Everyone wants this fight, Pacquiao is a legitimate challenge for PBF. Unless PBF insists on 147 or some greedy lions-share this fight should be received with open arms by die-hards and casuals.

Pac vs Floyd @ 144-145 for a 50/50 split would be ideal.

I don't think Manny will retire if he beats Floyd. You gotta think there'll be a rematch clause and or Mosley or Cotto could be waiting in the horizon.

I think Manny's got 2-3 yrs left. He's just gotten to the top and I think he might wanna stay on that pedestal a little longer.

Interesting...Manny putting pressure on Floyd. I must say, I'm impressed with how he's handling the fight "outside the ring," so to speak.

both are all for the fight. the problem will be the money. you got both guys requesting 60-40 splits......

not really. if the weight effects jmm (which it probably will negatively), then he won't be able to move like he used to and therefore floyd will win a chessmatch.
floyd-jmm won't be a chessmatch.....marquez can't hurt floyd, so yea floyd might take his time, but he's knocking marquez out.

what does floyd demanding a lion's share of the purse have to do w/ whether this fight will be received well or not? this fight is legit, no matter how you look at it. both guys want 60-40, i say they put it in the contract that winner gets 60, loser gets 40....easy.

we'll see at the negotiation table whether or not either guy is committed to making the fight.

Pacquiao is doing the right thing. He's finally becoming his own man and saying "*** YOU ARUM" indirectly.

While Arum is spewing BS about Pacquiao visiting the Clottey vs Cotto fight, Pac is saying "No", while Arum is spewing BS about Cotto or Mosley vs Pac, Pac is saying, "No".

Well done Pacquiao! I think he wants Mayweather because there is news all over his homeland's television stations with footage of Mayweather Jr. calling Pacquiao a p4p fraud and mentioning he was KO'd twice and out-boxed by Morales. This makes it personal for Pacquiao.
