I think Sturm should outbox the more limited Kelly Pavlik and win a decision.

However, if it is in the US, especially with Arum promoting, I don't think the judges will be fair.

So Pavlik by robbery or gift decision is the more likely outcome.

I wish this fight happened tomorrow,so 160 could rid itself of at least 1 scared champion,it's ridiculous,a bunch of belt holders and no one want to unify,wish someone would man up and let the Punisher in,he'd fight em all!!!

I think Kelly Pavlik�s status has somewhat declined in the past year and a half. Pavlik�s a fighter that cannot be left inactive and is best when he�s fighting 3 times a year against good opposition. There�s been too much �talking up� of a future fights (Froch, Williams, Abraham, Sturm, etc.) and not enough match making. Arum needs to set a fight date for Pavlik and then find a suitable opponent. And another thing- why is there so much reluctance to fight Sturm or Abraham on German soil? Sure, everyone decries that �Germany is corrupt� but the majority of us know that a fight with AA or Sturm probably will not go to the scorecards�

This is a damn fine match-up and I hope the fight gets made.

It's the classic boxer vs. puncher. Sturm's excellent jab vs. Pavlik's heavy right hand.

I can see it go either way, but I have to pick Pavlik by a KO after the 8'th round.

You beat me to it Bat. I agree 100% (even with the Pavlik by late KO) and would love to see it. I seriously doubt that it happens though. Maybe they should meet half way and fight in China (half way the long way around). Then we could stop hearing all this bullspit about traveling to Germany or the US.
