Cotto destroys Clottey, where is he P4P?

He wont stop Clottey. Not only is Clottey tough but he has a pretty tight defence and he is coming down from 160lbs.

Clottey has been hit by Margarito,Corrales,Zab Judah,Gutierrez.

I dont think Cotto hits hard enough to take Clottey out, its not that he CANT be hurt but on the whole he has a good chin & defence.

currently i have cotto just outside the top 5, alot of people have him around about 7/8 and i agree with that

if cotto outboxes clottey then he jumps 1 maybe two places up the rankings

if cotto TKO's, KO's or completely dominates clottey then imo he jumps up 3/4 places up the rankings. could/should he be higher than SSM? imo no but anyone could argue very easily otherwise.

personally i think SSM and cotto have unfinished buisness, the first fight i scored a draw and some people even had SSM winning, one thing is for sure cotto did not win by the wide margin that some of the scorecards showed.

I don't think Cotto will destroy Clottey. Merely stopping him isn't a destruction. Destruction would be stopping him well before the 10th with a knockdown in between while Cotto has suffered little himself in the way of damage.

I want Cotto to win, but I think this battle will be a bit close. What I find revealing is that Clottey seems nervous. Already painting Cotto as the spent force is either wishful thinking or dangerous arrogance. Both can arise from having silent self-doubt.
