I am totally disgusted at some of the comments i have read on these forums aimed at miguel cotto.
He was taking a bad beating and just because he didnt keep fighting till he got knocked out people give him a hard time about it.
Say if he had kept on going he might have ened up severley brain damaged or even killed then how would you feel,the man also has his familay to think about.
These guys are professional prize fighters who put there life on the line everytime they step through those ropes and i for one have a tremendous amount of respect for them.
What they do takes a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work if you are involved in boxing or know anything about it you should know this.I find it disgusting that some so called boxing fans are dissrespecting this guy and making out as if he is some kind of coward because he took a knee.
I would love to see how some of these key board warriors would fair in the ring given the same situation,I doubt very much if any of them could go 1 round in the ring with cotto or margarito.
These kind of comments are totally uncalled for and make me sick.

Dude miguel cotto quit!!!!! That's bull****! You never quit!!!!! He's not mentally strong and that fight proved it!!!! Just imagine if chico would have just stayed down after the second knockdown against castillo! Chico was hurt worst than cotto was and had no legs but he got up and was a warrior and you know what happenned then. What if gatti stayed down after being nailed by ward to the body? Or took a knee after ward was pounding after he got up? You fight till the end!!! Which is till you get ko'd you never quit!!!!! That just shows how soft you are. There hase been many times when boxers have been really hurt only to stay strong and make a comeback. The second knee by cotto was a disgrace to him, his fans, and boxing. He just straight up ran to the corner covered his face and took a ***en knee before marg even thre a punch that was some scared chicken ****, looking at his face, him covering himself, and dropping to the floor in fear. reminds me of when my littl bro would hit me then take off running and start crying, apologizing, and covering himself once I caught him

Cotto did fight hard but he should have never went out like that. That **** was gross!
