Is it just me or does South Africa have the IBF in their back pocket?

It does seem that way, doesn't it. South African fighters always get a shot at IBF titles.

I thought Donaire gave up already the belt. If he did, how come IBF still insist that the fight must happen. I'm confused.

Man it seems like Donaire's people have completely missed the boat in terms of capitalizing on his destruction of Darchinyan. Since then, Vic has completely re-habilitated his image, whereas Nonito has all but disappeared in the States. Clock is ticking..........

this is the price the "filipino flash" has to pay for being very fast, strong and tall.
he's akin to pwil "the punisher" in ww division.
nonito should move up north now and just relinquish his ibf & ibo fly belts.
donaire can waltz in 115 then 118 class....

Could it be because IBF Pres. Marian Muhammad is black?

moronic idea... nobody want to see the mismatch...

not anymore... the ibf should find another opponent for donaire... or the ibf stinks!

Hey IBF... I have a crazy idea.

If none of the people in your rankings are truly deserving of a title shot, maybe you should waive the mandatory for the moment...

That would make too much sense though.

How the hell is that Donaire's fault? Gary Shaw has done the same exact thing with Darchinyan that Frank Warren has done with Amir Khan after he got iced by Prescott. He went as far as to put Nonito on the undercard of Darchinyan's fight with Mijares I believe it was, and that's some f#cked up ****. But I don't think Arum is doing much better than Shaw in handling Donaire's career, that's for sure.
