RJJ gets this. He is a true P4p king until he lose to Tarver due to dehydration and muscle loss.

Roy Jones. He was a completely rare and unique fighter. His blend of speed and power would trump Floyd's overall excellence.

it'd be a close win for RJJ.. given the same size and all... Floyd would be toney/hopkins all in one versus Roy..

If toney and hopkins were put together, does that mean that Roy still makes Floyd look like an Am with a broken arm?

Its hard to compare the 2 or even visualize them fighting each other. But I would give the edge to Mayweather. He has fought and beat the better and more solid opponents. He has better fundamental skills and defense, and he responds to adversity much better.I've watched him get behind in fights, remain calm and pull out a victory.( Judah, De La Hoya) Roy built his whole superman aura by dominating hand picked no names or faded fighters. His biggest achievement was beating Ruiz at HW.He avoided Lennox, never gave Toney or Hopkins a rematch, lost 2 of 3 fights in a trilogy with Tarver, and was dominated and humiliated by Calzaghe. His knock out lost to Johnson was a complete embarressment and not once has he made an attempt to avenge it.In my opinion, Roy was a great entertainer not a great fighter.
