I'm a fan of both,but Clottey's style is all bad for Cotto!!I'm going for Clottey,but there is no disrespect for Cotto!!Just seems to me like Cotto's popularity is what people are going off!!I don't think anyone that has followed Clottey's career,could possibly see Cotto having an easy night!!!

Clottey won't have the work rate to pressure Cotto enough to break him.

clottey doesn't have to windmill punches to pressure cotto. all he needs to do is let cotto **** away at his arms until cotto gases, then take advantage late. if cotto flurries, clottey can sneak in uppercuts and overhand rights. he should definitely target cotto's nose.

But Clottey has something more to go by now, he knows when all is said and done sustained pressure beats Cotto. Clottey would gas himself trying to do that though.

agreed, he's gonna have to start picking it up around the 5th round and end in a crescendo in the 11th and 12th.

I wouldn't use the mosley fight as an analogy. mosley held cotto to take a break himself but cotto got to rest in the clinches too.

but against margo, cotto didn't get any chance to rest. clottey does not clinch and like margo he can't let cotto rest. he has to make cotto fight hard 3 minutes of every round. if he fails to do that, then cotto will not gas and then clottey will have no chance for the tKO win (which is the only way he can win).

he don't need to have power to make cotto bleed, he just needs to be accurate and throw the punches that cotto is vulnerable to: the uppercut and the overhand right.
