Gatti's more of an underachiever in terms of accomplishments than overachiever.

He probably would've done a lot better if he hadn't spent too much time (especially in 1998) drinking and partying and took the sport and training camp more seriously.

I agree. I think he only wanted the spotlight and to be a warrior, only on fight night though he didn't do everything to prepare however. I think he should've stayed amateur longer too he went pro very early at like 19.
