I think any fighter that does what hes done, will get respect....if you take on the best, you get respect end of. I dont think he gets too much hate...i think its just people tryin to hype their own fav fighter....You cant really dislike the guy hes so humble and an amazing fighter

Teddy Atlas and Max Kellerman don't seem to like Manny much anyway.

But yes, if he were from Europe, Teddy and Max would like him even less, and writers like Rosenthal, Raskin, Goldman and Iole would be unfairly negative toward him.
