There are about 10 logical posters on this site and I am 1 of them.

There is simply no reason to use logic on people who think Amir Khan is going to have a long successful boxing career since they are not using any logic themselves to come to that conclusion.

If I am arguing with people who want me to believe that being knocked out in 54 seconds by a nobody is insignificant in judging a fighter's future than why would I possibly take the time to formulate a logical argument?

It isn't insignificant, but **** happens. It may become insignificant, given time. Take Pacquiao -- KO'd twice by less-than-stellar opposition early in his career, but he learned from defeat and dealt with it which ultimately made him a better fighter, as did the close fights he had with Marquez. They forced him to improve certain aspects of his game, but apprently took nothing away from him mentally because he knew those defeats were caused by unlucky mistakes.

With young fighters such as Khan -- who the majority believe does have some talent -- you have to give them a chance. Anything can happen in a fight, it literally takes a single punch thrown in a split second to turn things around, and unfortunately for him he paid for his mistakes. He can still have a good career, but, as yet, it's too early to tell. His next 3 fights should tell us all we need to know.
