yes, it can be, but think about it though...floyd went conventional with judah, because he adjusted to judah, who hits harder than manny and has a pretty solid technical style himself...manny doesn't...look, judah really didn't have floyd up against the ropes, and when he did, he really didn't land anything, so it's kind of hard to make your point when floyd has never been really tested by a southpaw on the ropes except for corley, and he did am amazing job also fighting off of the ropes...i fought many years, and i'm a southpaw myself...it's dangerous when you don't know how to adjust to southpaws, floyd does...when corley had him up against the ropes, floyd landed punches and blocked punches a lot that corley threw...and corley isn't a slow puncher himself...just watch how manny attepmts to handle floyd on the ropes, i bet you he fights very cautious...i don't care about him being a southpaw either...floyd hasn't had trouble fighting southpaws on the ropes...he knows how to use the ropes very well...in fact he's had more trouble with conventional stance fighters than southpaws....
10 reasons why Floyd will beat pac decisively

i get your point, but i don't see floyd losing a round to jmm, and i am looking past him, even though i shouldn't, but floyd won't lose to this man, because he isn't looking past him...floyd won't lose to him, i promise you that...i understand your two cents though...i made this thread because people on here are blinded by pacman, and it's not his fault...he has been on a rollercoaster ride...for all of floyd's ego, in that ring, that mother****er is the truth...when he gets in his zone, the fight is over...on that note, i still have the top 2 reasons floyd will crush pacman coming soon folks...stay tuned...Last edited by pbftxrs316; 06-10-2009, 10:41 PM.Comment

10 Fuuucking Reasons Why FLOYD IS A *****
1. More action in talking than fighting.
2. Back pedals and pitty patty.
3. Lost to castillo in first fight then did #2 on the rematch and third.
4. Fights cherry picks opponents.
5. Never fought a top WW.
6. Ducks good opponents or if it's a threat.
7. Ducked Mosley.
8. Ducked Cotto.
9. Ducked Margarcheato.
10. Picked Marquez who PAC defeated already instead of waiting 1 more day after PAC KTFO hatton whom he had trouble for 10 rounds. Probably will still duck 7,8,9 and retire.Comment

Very good analysis of the this fight and I agree with it. Southpaws are very troublesome but knowing how much of a workaholic Floyd is, I think he'll come very prepared with a gameplan to fight this particular Southpaw. If there is anyone that can adjust to a fighters style as good as Mayweather, i haven't seen him.Everyone who spends a significant time in a boxing ring knows shoulder rolling a lefty can be extremely dangerous, the angles are completely different and the straight left can be sent down the pipe much easier than from a right handed stance. Thus why floyd went to a more conventional defense against judah. Floyd just like almost every rh fighter I have come across in a gym hates fighting southpaws, he would never admit it, but they create problems, and he just like 90% of fighters looks more vulnerable against them.
In terms of judah's stamina, I don't think judah has brilliant stamina, based on the fact that his work rate is poor. He has always had great speed and a very explosive offense, and very good power, but he lacks heart at the highest level, and generally doesn't like it when people fight back. Manny is much more complete fighter and a completely different and harder proposition. It will be tough and not decisive both fighters will be hurt in the fight and it will be close and could go either way and they are both capable of tko each other but id favour floyd in a decision.Comment

dont bother with the last 2!...instead you should be thinking about some good believable excuses after pac demolishes himi get your point, but i don't see floyd losing a round to jmm, and i am looking past him, even though i shouldn't, but floyd won't lose to this man, because he isn't looking past him...floyd won't lose to him, i promise you that...i understand your two cents though...i made this thread because people on here are blinded by pacman, and it's not his fault...he has been on a rollercoaster ride...for all of floyd's ego, in that ring, that mother****er is the truth...when he gets in his zone, the fight is over...on that note, i still have the top 2 reasons floyd will crush pacman coming soon folks...stay tuned...

Floyd does not fair well against South Paws. Judah who is a 5 round fighter was tossing up Floyd early. Corley, another South Paw was rocking Floyd early. Manny is on another level and he will give the ulgy boy something to really run from. Manny beats Mayweather Jr. Although the fight will look like Manny Pacquiao is chasing his secretary around the ring, that is what will have to happen because Floyd will not come to fight against Manny. If Judah and Corley were able to give Floyd problems, I can't imagine what PacMan would do to chicken head Floyd. I don't see Floyd stepping in the ring with Manny, I don't think Floyd has the guts or the grits nor the balls and he knows it.Comment
