Jean Pascal has been trianing at my gym..

for a few months now. He's fighting on the WBC LHW title on the 19th of this month. He's leaving on Sunday back to Montreal for the fight. I worked out with him, sparred a few rounds with him and he's a very cool guy.

Built like a truck, not one ounce of fat on the guy and I hope he does well. He's fighting Adrian Diaconu for the title, moving up from Super Middle Weight to do it.

I have met a lot of fighters in the past, being invloved in boxing as long as I have and Pascal is very down to earth.

Not really familiar with either Pascal or Diaconu so how do you guys see this fight going? I know Diaconu is the champ but Pascal looks to be in great shape and hits like a truck.

Seriously this would be a Superfight if these guys were more known. I seriously can't pick a definite winner and I've seen pretty much all they're fights all the way back to the ametuers. Pascal is really nice guy he fought my buddy Jay in the ametuers.

Pascal was beaten by Carl Froch, you have to be pretty fucking useless for that to happen.

The funny thing was, his trainer was cycling guys in every 2 rounds for 8 rounds that day. I was second up and Pascal hit me with an uppercut that made my whole face go numb....lol.

I was on defense most of the time and he was just too quick for me. Cool thing is after we sparred, he was kickin it with me like we knew each other for years. He said the fight will be on VS on the 19th. Real cool cat and down to earth, not like other fighters I have met.

He had some young Dominican guy with him that is making his pro debut that night as well and some heavyweight that has an incredible jab. Cuban I think...

That's pretty cool, must be a really good experience to be able to train and spar with a professional boxer like Pascal..

pascal is not a world beater but feel he will give diacona a run for it. he went toe to toe with froch which is saying a lot.pascal looks good against the plodding euro styles presented to him in canada and brit.

I think Pascal is going to be too fast for Diaconu and will score a minor upset.

Yea, I mean he was a champ at 168, the guy is no slouch. The thing that ****** was we sparred with Reyes 12 oz gloves, **** hurt...lol. Full headgear and everything but I guess the closer you get to the fight, the more the trainer wants to hav a feel for the real thing.

He had some Dominican kid that is making his debut and looks so much like Gamboa in the face, I thought that was him for a second.
