I don't know... at 37, it's most likely best he stay away at this point. You shouldn't try to comeback after a layoff at 37, although the layoff hasn't been that long...yet.

To me there is nobody really defining for him to fight, besides maybe Dawson.

Although I do believe he could beat Froch and Adamek.

Froch, although undefeated, is pretty beatable... and it would obviously be a nice win, but probably not worth the comeback or the paycheck.

Adamek, would be worth it IMO, just for the simple fact of taking a title in a new division.

And Dawson, well Dawson is a tough customer, and I don't think that fight brings the kind of money to make up for the risk.

So I think he will stay retired.

It just got me thinking about Roy vs. Froch. How do you think that would go? I'd say Roy schools him.

Completely depending on how Roy looks against Lacy... even though Lacy is a B- fighter at this point.. he has only lost to Joe and Jermaine... to very solid opponents, and the fact he is so much younger than Roy.. It will be at least a DECENT measuring stick. Does he barely beat Lacy? Does he beat him decently? Does he school him? Does he knock him out?

I need those questions answered first.

But lets say he schools Lacy... I know Roy has said he wants Froch. He said having a former title at HW... nobody has ever come from being a HW titlist to going down to SMW and regaining a title... nobody, ever.

THat would be a big fight... Froch has a huge punch, but what I like about that fight, is that Froch is VERY hittable... even for this Roy. Something Joe wasn't at Roys age. Joe had great movement with his head and body, it was a bit much for this Roy. But Froch although a little slick... is slow slick, not fast slick. I could definitely see that fight going in Roys favor, as long as he stayed away from that power. I would goto that fight.

Adamek is another one, And although I think Adamek is a little more solid of an opponent than Froch, I do like the fact of a 40 yr old Roy putting on a little muscle, then taking a little bit off at this point. Adamek is a solid pressure fighter, but hittable, and slower than Roy.

IMO Roy can still do decent against anyone slower than him who doesn't throw 1000 punches a fight...

I'd like ONE more title fight... just ONE more, and both those fights are a lot more winnable.

Roy schools Lacy, I reckon. I'd laugh my ass off if he KO's him. Definitely looking forward to this fight.

Froch is a risky fight, despite his lack of skill, but IMO Roy takes it pretty easily. However... you never know when Roy might get bored halfway through a fight and decide to do his best impression of a surfboard. Dude worries me, to be completely honest.
