Heavywieghts have always been the biggest draw in boxing. They even started the P4P rankings to recognize Sugar Ray Robinson because the Heavyweight divison overlooked every other one. I stated this before that I think one reason that boxing isn't doing so well in America is becaue the HW division is ****. But if you look at it throughout this history of boxing the HW have always made the most money and always had the biggest draw in the sport. To be honest HW is actually my least favorite division of any time. Of course there have been countless great heavyweights but I would just rather see smaller guys throw lots of fast punches which can also be deadly, than see big guys throw fewer punches just because they can hit the hardest. Anyone else with me. What division(s) do you perfer.
Do you prefer heavyweight or lower weight classes?

I've always preferred the classes from middleweight up to heavyweight, although I've seen some great fights at the smaller weight divisions. -

Besides when Tyson was fighting, I've ALWAYS liked the lower weight classes.
Middleweight was described to me when I was young as the best of both worlds - powerful like bigger guys and fast like smaller guys. So I always gravitated to the middleweight and neighboring weight classes (welterweight to super middle, well mostly just welters cuz SM has gay ass fighters). Those have always been my favorites.Last edited by ИATAS; 06-09-2009, 06:20 PM.Comment

Welter Weights, Middle Weights are my fav. But things changed and the little guys were giving the fans mucho **** for our buck so a lot of the smaller guys have had a huge following. I just can't get into the heavy weight division.Comment
