What's Golden Boy Promotion's next project?

They just got boxing on Versus monthly. What do you think is coming next? Do they plan to make it a weekly show in the future? Schaefer has spoken of network tv. It's propably just talk, but if that happened that's GREAT for boxing in the US.

Is another independent PPV, like the Lightweights PPV they recently did, in the works?

Oscar wants to put free boxing fights on TV. No more PPVs is what he wants. I hope he can pull it off, it will be fucking awesome.

As much as I WANT to believe that, come one, the Golden Boy himself, master of the PPV, MR. $98,324,723,743,089,887,232,999 dollars generated, is going to put on FREE fights on TV? Come on, your pulling my chain!

I'm liking this "Fight Night Club." If they could get it to a weekly show, alternating between the big 4 cities every week (LA, NY, Houston, Chicago), and keeping the same 4 venues that would be amazing. I also hope they move to a different channel. Nobody just pops to Versus. It won't bring in a bunch of new fans. I'd like to see it on ESPN2 or USA (remember Tuesday Night Fights?).

Action speaks louder than words, but hey at least it gives me some kind of hope. Especially when I buy a **** load of them every year from both MMA & Boxing.

Can't blame the man for using the system. Your boy BHop does it too.

Of course he does! That's bhop for you, they are both very smart business men.

But maybe they see the long term investment in having free fights on TV, surely they realize the biggest names in the sport all started on free TV
