Williams doesnt get big fights, because he's not a big draw

i think he's a really good fighter who has real potential,

but im gettin a little sick of him sayin he's being ducked and knowone wants to fight em', and calling out everybody blah blah blah........

the reason guys like B-hop, mosley, cotto, and others dont want to fight em is not because he's a hard fight (tho he is) but becaz he isnt a big draw at all, he never has been, if the big names fought him they wouldent be makeing as much money as they usally do, so why should they.

and pavlik did agree to fight williams, but williams turned it down for whatever reason, you can hear it said by one of the commentators in the winky-willams fight.

but like i said he's a good fighter,
he jus needs to STFU and keep fighting and wait for his oppertunity,
jus like many fighters befor him.

Yes, he has to work his way up. Williams doesn't have the Olympic or amateur glory to back him up, so he has to really dig deep to prove himself to these guys. But he is still young and moving well in terms of his opponents.

      1-not a big draw
      2-hasnt beat anyone
      3-doesnt hold a title

if he'd settle in a beat some major fighters and get a title people will be forced to fight him...but he's been fighting bums and old men lately

I think he's taking good challenges but becoming a draw or really exciting the boxing public can't be forced and it won't just happen cause it seems like someone deserves it. Margarito truly blew up b/c he had a watershed moment with Cotto that was perfect for him. Everyone was watching, the fight had enough starpower and the action was exciting. I have a feeling he's getting closer to the fight that will make him a serious shotcaller but he really hasn't nailed it yet.

He hasnt beat anyone. he needs to work his way up to earn a shot. he wants a big money fight but doesnt bring in any money himself.

When you're barely filling the front row for a fight with Winky Wright, it's not rocket science to figure out that guys who are making $5-10 Mill aren't going to fight you.

Williams is good, but he's missing that extra something that appeals to the public or that huge victory (Winky was a good win, but not great).

              Paul should not STFU

That's not how things get done.

Cotto and Shane aren't exactly huge draws themselves..Hopkins can't draw flies.

Do you think Williams could fill MSG like both Mosley and Cotto did? Look at the buzz Cotto vs Clottey is getting WITHOUT a major push by HBO.

They were GIVING AWAY tickets at Winky vs Williams. How does a matchmaker or promoter look at Williams and say, "Yea that's the right pick there"

Cotto is still fighting on regular HBO..it's not like he's the money machine of boxing.

Winky is better than anybody Cotton has ever beaten.
