roach is overrated i mean pac basically trains himself. of the roach camp pac is the only fighter that got to an elite level but like i said pac basically trains himself.

A lot of that depnds on their "Americanization" these guys have never had the freedom they will have here, can they maintain that spartan lifestyle on their own without the structure of the Cuban system (could take a while for this to really come about). It could go either way really, they could go a long time or they burn brightly but quickly (I assume with the group of Cubans we will get a bit of both).

It is tough to say how ameture mileage will effect them as pros, they are much less harsh then pro fights but still a couple hundered fights could still take something out of them (even if it is mostly mental).

Will be interesting to watch though.

Guillermo Rigondeaux did not impress me in his debut, its going to take a long time to get out of his amateur style, haven't seen much of the other guy, im gonna youtube him right now.

i dont really expect a whole lot outa these guys. they're in there prime RIGHT NOW! 28 years old? the human body stops growing in most males at around 17-20 years. the body peaks at 24-28 years. so, physicaly, its all down hill. they have great skills though, so hopefully, that'll get them threw.

trainers are the most over-rated part of this game, anybody who has ever fought knows that. they know how to fight roach is not going to teach them anything, they will learn more as they spar and fight more pros. one man steps into the ring everybody else is looking for a paycheck.

the 2 can surely learn from freddie, as a trainer and as a person.
but freddie myt be spreading himself too thin....
i wonder how he takes care of himself.....not that i care!
