Another perfect example of his inconsistent performance. Bell looked indifferent about fighting that night. I was happy Adamek kept peppering him.

At one end of the line you see him walk through hell to stop Mormeck and Kelvin Davis, at the other end he's largely being dominated by Dale Brown. Weird, yet entertaining fighter.

It's like if I was born in England, but my father was born in America who was from Japanese decent. Wouldn't make me American.
I think your talking about holding a citizenship, or a passport of a country, and that would make you a member of whatever country you hold an official document from, but lets say a Nigerian guy was born in CHina, and lived there all his life, would you consider that Nigerian guy to be 100% Chinese, even though he considers himself to be originally from a different country (all the while him being easily distinguishable from the masses)?

I think you could put Glen Johnson and Simon Brown on the same level. People forget how good Brown was for awhile. Two division champ, beat Norris, Trice and fought some of the best of his day.
Yeah, even though im a big Norris fan i like watching Brown fight.

That fight with Trice was an excellent fight.

Yeah Bell was inconsistent his 2 fights with Mormeck were great but he put in a terrible performance against Dale Brown and didn't look interested against Adamek, has he quit now?

Yeah he was a rugged dude. I wonder how he'd fare in todays Welterweight picture. He could be out boxed (McGirt, Norris II, Starling), but he did pretty well when he was exchanging power shots with his opponents. I guess the Starling fight was something of a 'boy vs. man' situation too.

no. his mother, came to england from jamaica were she had lennox with a englishman. he was married and was never part of lennox' life. lennox moved to canada when he was about 8-14, something like that. point is he lived in england for a while. he started boxing in canada after getting in trouble at school, fighting. and later represented them in the olympics, when he turned pro he moved back to england since there was more money, big fights, promotion etc.

yeah I did, but the open scoring bull**** kinda ruined it, messed up the flow of the fight. If I recall correctly the first half of the fight was on path of being a Fight of the year candidate, but because of the open scoring Mormeck went on his bike for the 2nd half or so of the fight.
