I genuinely believe he will make an impact on the HW division. Hope he gets to fight both brothers. I truly think he would beat them both aswell

      1. Haye is a Cruiser ATG because he unified cruiser belts.
      2. If he manages to fight against either Klitschko then he will be remembered. Because in a few years it will be common knowledge that the Klitschkos are amongst the best HWs ever lived and that will automatically upgrade all their opponents. Just as Jimmy Young is a household name because he boxed against Ali, although objectively he is a featherfisted bum (34-19, 11 KOs).
      3. Haye does have the tools to make an impact at HW.

Haye was never really an undisputed champ at cruiserweight. He only fought in two title fights, against past-prime Mormeck (who wasn't the same after his wars with O'Neil Bell) and the weak-chinned clubfighter Maccarinelli.

Haye has no wins over top prime cruiserweights, like Adamek and Cunningham. He avoided those who are difficult to knock out like Arslan, Jones and Wlodarzcyk and instead fought opponents like the notoriously china-chinned Gurov.

JC Gomez has a MUCH better resume at cruiserweight than Haye.

Yes, indeed. Gomez has a better cruiser resume.

But I replied to the question whether Haye will be remembered in XX years. And in my view unified belts can have more "memory value" than a better resume.
