from what ive seen, pavlik has had trouble with those who throw more punches than him, williams is faster, and throws alot more punches, hopkins gave him hell throwing more punches, and being faster, but ive seen wackier **** who knows

It wasn't really about Hopkins throwing more but more about Hopkins giving Pavlik movement so he couldn't set up his punches.

I just dont see it happing. Yes williams is a great fighter with a great reach. But who has he fought? he lost to carlos, then beat carlos. he beat a washed up Wright who doesnt throw many punches.

What im trying to say is williams is very untested at the higher weight classes. and now he wants to fight somebody like kelly pavlik. If Carlos was able to knock out williams what do you think kelly will do to him? I dont see williams being able to replacate hopkins preformence against pavlik. Williams is no where near as technical as hopkins is.

In the end I honestly have to say i got Kelly by mid to late round knockout.

I'm a fan of both these guys but i gotta tell you. Williams has been in with way more talent than Kelly. Quintana, Margarito, Wright are on the top on my list. But Pavlik is too big i think. KPav by KO but no one wants to see that. Williams could possibly settle in middleweight but he needs to do just that and let his body grow.

If Hopkins was able hurt Pavlik so would Williams. How can you walk down someone who throws 1000 punches. Williams would outwork and outbox Pavlik silly and went with a possible chance of a late KO
