Is that question really bugging you so bad? It's to tune up after a 19-month layoff and take home a 15 million dollar paycheck.

[QUOTE=Deja_Vous;5451687]You got your facts all ****ed up.

When Cotton was asked DIRECTLY about fighting Mayweather by Merchant and Kellerman he punked-out and said his usual

"I fights who my peoples tells me to fights"

This was when Floyd was ACTIVE.

      That is COWARD TALK.

Floyd had already announced his RETIREMENT when they asked him about Cotton.
      Check it out here:

He had announced his retirement? WTF It was right after the Hatton fight! At least Cotto said that he fights who they tell him to fight. Mayweather straight up avoided the question and even called on Ricky to talk to Merchant. Get off his balls man!

        true enough.

but castillo failed the 2nd time and the 1st time floyd was injured.

as for roger... he has a winning record I guess against mexicans hence the nickname.

i don't think he's questioning that... but that kinda talk doesn't give floyd any credit for the win nor will it drive ppv sales up. nobody pays for mismatches.

First of all, the 15mil doesnt benefit anyone on this forum, so why are u so concerned about how much Floyd is making?

A tune-up, ok cool, but what how quickly the Floydboyz will be bragging about how Floyd defeated the pfp#2 fighter in the world after coming off a 19 month layoff. But wait, I thought it was a tune-up? LOL

It's obvious that he should've fought someone at 147 since he claims he's a WW but of course he picked a guy the had one fight at 135 and is going up to 144 leaving his power and whatever speed he had behind. Floyd wants to be considered the best of all time but when he had the chance to prove it, his ***** didn't let him. Instead of fighting even a no-name WW since he also says he's the biggest draw, he chose the little guy. Why didn't he face Mosley? He's the #1 WW and a belt holder. Now all the Floyd fans are going to say that Marquez called him out, that Floyd didn't pick him. They don't realize that Floy didn't have to say yes. He could've done what Paquiao did when Marquez called him out for years, ignore him and build his carrer. I don't think that beating Marquez does anything for Floyd's carrer and/or legacy. Beating a real WW will do more for him.
lol ur a hardcore floyd hater huh everytime i see u post its hating on floyd

                  Hell

                  JMM is better than Cotto..!!

Floyd is a full fledged WW....and he's the ONLY current WW that won a Title at 154.

                  Cotto can't win **** at 154..

Tony tried but got deported back to 147 by the dreaded Daniel Santos.
Reggie, I dont ever wanna hear u cry about Floyd not being a natural WW ever again.
