By Cliff Rold - Miguel Cotto-Joshua Clottey should be good enough on its own to make HBO’s Saturday night show worth watching this weekend. [details]

i can't wait to see ivan schooling mayol from opening to the last round.

but i'm sure the soft-punching puerto rican can't score a knockout much less a knockdown to mayol.

You nailed it, Cliff. I know The Ring took the time to **** on this fight, and others have suggested that such a match has no business on HBO, so why ***** about it. But you get the sense that Iron Boy could've been moving up to face Nonito Donaire, and HBO still wouldn't show any interest. A shame; Calderon will ultimately go down as the most underexposed, underappreciated GREAT fighter of at least his time, if not in recent boxing history.

add to that he never had the benefit of Don King putting him on every PPV known to man like Finito and you truely do have one of the most under appreciated fighters we have seen
