People also seem to forget that Floyd has that AT&T commecial that is on TV constantly. I would have to say if you asked an average American to name 1 boxer from today Mayweather would be a likely responce because of that commercial.

That can not hurt in getting his name out to the general population.

In all fairness a lot of people who watch floyd mayweather jr. fights watch them to see floyd get beat, which hasnt happened yet. I think floyd is the more recognized but does not have the most fans.
