okay so how far does an atg list expand?

i always see threads saying "so n so is a atg" or " is so n so a atg?" and i think to myself "well how many damn atg's are there? what do u think?

Ok, boxing is more then a century old and is pushing like 125 years possibly more. Now think about all the boxers that have laced up the gloves during that time, if you even take the top .5% (5 boxers out of ever thousand that competed basically) you have a huge number.

What is ATG top 1%, top .1%, top .01% (1 out of every 10,000). 100 is a pretty small number when considering the vast history of boxing.

I think the most important one's are the first top 100. But it's always better to keep it nice and short like let's say 50, maybe. Depends on the imagination of the person who's making this list.

the problem here is people say its 50 or 100 but most people here if not no one here can name 50 without doing a search on google. so its as long as you want it to be cuz remember its all just opinion.

Everyone's got their own criteria.

I don't take the whole "ATG", "great but not ATG" that seriously, some view ATG as an extremely selective group and others less so.
