          depends what you mean by prime. imo yes and no. he may not be physically but hes smarter then ever.

            The Floyd that fought Gatti would still have problems with Williams. Floyd looked great, but keep in mind who he was fighting. He'd have to have a completely different game plan against Williams and it won't look anywhere near as dominant as he was with Gatti..not even close.

            His body is starting to feel the effects of all his training and grueling fights now
            Grueling fights? What fight do you recall Floyd being in that was grueling? The last fight I seen him in that was probably the most aggressive fight was against Castillo in the sense of him being in a puncher's duel.

            To answer the TS, I would like to believe Floyd is in prime shape, but we'll have to wait until July 18th to really see.

              I think he was at his best when he was at 135. He isn't quite the same now but he is still incredible. The main diffrence is his workrate seems to be dropping as he gets bigger/ages.

                  No not in his prime, he was alot better at SFW. I've seen the decline when he moved up from Jr WW. He's still good enough to beat everyone at 147, except Paul maybe.
