Floyd is no longer in his prime. His prime was 130 to 140. He has shown signs of decline since the Gatti fight. He has been reduced to pot shotting because of his brittle hands and shoulder. But I still favour him over most WW except Williams
The PBF that fought Gatti would have beaten Williams IMO but Floyd is no longer that fresh. His body is starting to feel the effects of all his training and grueling fights now. I really hope his lay off has helped his body so he can retire JMM

The Floyd that fought Gatti would still have problems with Williams. Floyd looked great, but keep in mind who he was fighting. He'd have to have a completely different game plan against Williams and it won't look anywhere near as dominant as he was with Gatti..not even close.

Grueling fights? What fight do you recall Floyd being in that was grueling? The last fight I seen him in that was probably the most aggressive fight was against Castillo in the sense of him being in a puncher's duel.
To answer the TS, I would like to believe Floyd is in prime shape, but we'll have to wait until July 18th to really see.
I think he was at his best when he was at 135. He isn't quite the same now but he is still incredible. The main diffrence is his workrate seems to be dropping as he gets bigger/ages.
No not in his prime, he was alot better at SFW. I've seen the decline when he moved up from Jr WW. He's still good enough to beat everyone at 147, except Paul maybe.
