    Should boxers see a therapist???

    Do you believe a boxer should see a therapist before and after a fight??? I mean win or lose and which example of fighter do you think should see a therapist after a devastating lost??

          Seeing a therapist doesnt mean they are weak-minded, Boxing is a brutal sport. One where you have to punch your opponents skulls in even if his wife and children are sitting across and watching you land everyone of those punches to their loved ones.

          Boxers like Chris eubank were never the same after seeing an opponent suffer a life-threathen injury in the ring.

            i think thats a great idea. losing a fight is really rough, i cant even imagine how it is in the pros with the whole world watching. seeing a therapist sounds like a great idea. mccall didnt have any buissness in the ring in his second fight with lewis for example.

                i dont know about therapy i think thats part and parcel of being a great fighter, being able to overcome your demons

                i would favour boxers having regular brain scans before and after fights to make sure there is no damage

                  good point.

                  also, tyson was mentally weak, but he was a great boxer.
