In 4 of Bute's last 5 fights, there was 2 foreign judges (including the Andrade fight).

As for the "no canadien want to fight outside Canada". Bute, Gatti, Dorin, Lucas, Diaconu, Demers, Pascal, Gaudet, Ngoudjo, Alcine all fight out of Quebec and all fought in foreign soil.

RJJ, Tarver, Taylor, Pavlik, Paul Williams, Forrest, Mosley, De la Hoya, Mayweather never fought a single fight outside the US. Did yo ever complain about it?

So how can you say that canadiens don't want to fight outside Canada?
    Taranazan educate me
in the bute/andrade fight, i think i seen it on azteca america streaming(boy that sounds wierd but i watched it with compos of boxingscene), the commentators said that. and i heard that on fnf too.
but i believe you when you say about different provinces( i take that means like states). and then my short sightedness of not considering canadians fighting meaningless showcases in europe and the eastern block.
of coarse gentleman gatti is an exception.
man i think your wrong about the bute/andrade

And if I did talk about american fighters, it's because there are some american fans who think that a fighter can't be considered great if he hasn't fought in the US. Those fans always complain that foreign fighters don't want to travel to the US. So I gave some exemples of american fighters who didn't travel, to prove than they were not better (neither are they worse) than a fighter of another country who doesn't fight outside his own country.
I think you may be taking the minority of posters on this forum a bit too seriously. There are over 300,000,000 Americans lets not stereo type a whole population, as it is foolish.

Regarding your reply, a lot of the reason that English fighters like to fight outside of the UK is that we're so bloody socialist now... and mister Gordon Brown's gov't in their infinite wisdom just passed a measure that requires anybody earning over 150k pounds a year pays 50 per cent in taxes, so a lot of fighters who have residence outside the UK (like Haye, who resides in Cyprus) prefer not to collect their revenue domestically. In fact, Froch actually discussed this about a week and a half ago....

It is still a risk to fight outside of your hometown/nation so Froch should be commended.

Oh abolutely. Chap's one of my favourite fighters and one of the things I respect about the lad most is that he's willing to travel to fight. He said he'd fight Bute in Candada, BHop in Philly (he would lose though... badly) and Kessler in Copenhagen, and we all know it's pretty much impossible to get a fair decision in Europe, so he'd obvi. have to get a KO. However, I'm just saying I don't fault him for attempting to relocate outside of the UK.

Froch does have some brass ones, but he needs to tone it down a bit in his PR management. At least he hasn't spoke about Calzaghe in the last hour, which is always a good sign.

True, he hadn't spoken about Joe. And as much as I like him, I think when he called out joe to "get up out of his armchair" that really tarnished his win against Taylor. Thankfully, however, he's since said he's not going to call out Joe again and has accepted the fact he's retired, and was actually rather gracious about it (a rarity for Carl when speaking of Calz). I'll link if I can find but if not, it's on the BBCs site under 'boxing'.

In Bute-Andrade, the three judges were: Alex Levin, Benoit Roussel and Mickey Vann. Roussel is canadien, but the other two aren't.

Yes, provinces are like states. In Canada, both the Canadien and the Province (Montreal is in the province of Quebec, Toronto is in the province of Ontario) have their own areas where they can make laws. In this case, it is the Province who can make a law about sports. So the law will be different in each province.

I am pretty sure that fnf and azteca made a mistake. I've just checked the legislation in Quebec and there is no such thing.
