if haye doesn't get a fight with vitali for at least spetember then he should go for other fights

go and take on someone like dimitrenko or povetkin. both these guys would be eager to make the fight with haye and wouldn't ask for so much on the negotiating table. both these guys are big, strong and fight like the klits and would allow haye to formulate a blueprint.

other fights like toney thompson, arreola, chambers, maskaev, ruiz maybe even james toney would allow haye to regain some momentum and fights with thompson and toney would make haye think as well.

Exactly! Nobody has ever dominated Gomez like that before. Gomez only had 1 loss and it was cause he was caught cold in the first round. Gomez wins that fight he lost to Diaz 9 out of 10 times...

Vitali didn't look shot, but he did show signs of age. His best days are certainly past him.

Maybe, but IMO he's still closer to his prime than Lewis was when he fought Vitali. And he still looks head and shoulders better than any other heavyweight other than his brother. (Unless Haye astonishes everyone, but I doubt he will).

Haye's fought only once in 15 months...

He needs to take a warm-up when he's ready in August, if he's serious about fighting a Klitschko later on.
