Who will you be rooting for: Clottey or Cotto?

im rooting for cotto because he is one of my fav boxers but im also a fan of josh he is a greatand humble guy and always has time to thank his fans so ill be rooting for my fav but if clottey pulls it off i will be happy for him and quick to congradulate him

I don't like rooting against black fighters but Clottey is african and I have resentment towards them so I have no problem rooting for Cotto.

I follow him more as a fighter, and hope he does really well. With Clottey I don't care much for him. It's just that I don't like seeing black fighters take a beating especially.

I'll be rooting for Cotto, I want to see him come back better then he was before the Margarito fight, I do think Clottey will take the win tho.

This will be an easy win for Cotto, I'm rooting for Cotto, I'm a fan. Clottey seems to have a good future if he shows some great heart. The problem is that everyone is looking at the Margarito Clottey fight that happened in 2006 which he probably didn't even cheat back then but if he did then Clottey is a great fighter. Now as for Clottey crying about his hands in the fifth round or so I don't know about that. Cotto is normally hurt in fights and keeps going forward with no mercy: weak chin? I don't know if does get hit really hard but then again keep going. I think this fight will bring memories like Abdulaev VS Cotto which he has the same position with his hand to block but cotto will keep looking for clean shots and trying to get him tired. I would have said that Clottey is a machine if he breath blood for a couple of rounds waiting for bricks to form up. That's all five days we will see..

good points, but the flaw in your argument is that while clottey lost to margo, he didn't quit like cotto.

also, there's no proof margo cheated before the mosley fight, and if he did, then he could've just as easily used plaster against both fighters and not just cotto.

Male Kristian Yonuel combined the initial, sorry!.. I know that Cotto did quit in Margarito fight and it was a horrible lost after he was doing good. I can't wait for this saturday I know this will be a great fight but I just don't see how Clottey would win this. Cotto fights whoever 3 times a year except for last year, Clottey has not had yet the opportunity to get fights as Cotto. Also, I would still be a Cotto fan if he loses because this guy is not scared of anybody and that doesn't happen with frequency anymore. As a puertorican sometimes I hate when fans goes away from their heroes for only a loss, just as how it happened to Trinidad.. But this is about Cotto!!

don't really have a big favorite in this fight. good that it's happening though because the talk in the ww division has been mosley, mayweather, pac, and cotto due to them having the skill and being more proven, but i've been saying that clottey was a legit contender. whoever wins, i think it'll be a split decision. if it's unanimous i think cotto is likely to win it.
