Is SSM ducking or being stubborn?

i ask this b/c its like he got his mind made up on a pacquiao or mayweather & he aint budging. BERTO & PWILL shane says im not fighting him. COTTO is a step back. he not trying to talk about nobody but manny & floyd & he is willing to sit around & wait for one of them. to top it off he folding to their demands.

    neither.

pacquiao is looking for his next opponent.

mayweather will be looking for one soon after he beats marquez.

same for cotto after he fights clottey.

pacquiao , mayweather and cotto are all higher profile and bigger money fights than his other options.

fighting those 3 does more resume/legacy-wise for mosley than either berto or williams.

fighting those 3 does more financially for mosley as well.

waiting to see what happens is a smart move.

it makes sense business-wise and boxing history-wise.

Can't blame him for waiting around because he's only got a fight or two left in the tank (probably) and he'll wanna earn some proper money. Also, it would be a really good fight if he was to step in the ring with Pac/May and would be nothing less than he deserves.

i disagree with that. williams does a hell of a lot more than pcman for his resume and legacy, pac is just to damn small. i would be about a million times more impressed if he beat williams. pacman and floyd are gon get it on anyways. that leaves cotto, if he sure of getting that fight he can wait. but i would rather see him stay active, especially considering his age.

fighting Williams brings nothing to the table. Nothing for his legacy and nothing for his pocket. he's near the end of his career and he's looking for big fights. Williams and berto are both regular HBO at top. Mosley went from 135 to 147 to fight DLH in his prime and fought the big dog up in 154, he ain't afraid to get in the ring with Williams so cut that ****. He, as well as his advisers along with some reasonable fans know that a fight with williams is useless and a waste of time at this point in his career.

Also williams is not a WW anymore, so he should STAY in one division and move up in the ranks. He will get his big names eventually.

So to answer the question he is being stubborn looking for some cash before calling it quits

            based on what? that's he's 6'2??

Paquiao is a first ballot HOF and an ATG, Williams is a....??u tell me

U would be, along with a couple of guys here. but the truth is that barely anyone would care about this fight and it won't sell for ****

pacman is a great fighter that is HOF caliber.

believe me a win over pacman will mean more for his legacy than paul.

30 years from now who knows if paul williams is gonna be remembered. boxing historians and fans will remember pacquiao.

pacquiao is too small but he'd still be a great win. pacquiao would certainly be a live underdog. pacquiao would also get him paid 10 times more than a paul williams fight.

everyone needs to take it easy on floyd , cotto , shane and manny's next fights.

depending on what gbp and tr decides........

              cotto-mosley , cotto-pacquiao , cotto-mayweather , pacquiao-mosley , pacquiao-mayweather , mosley-mayweather could all happen in the near future.

in whatever order.......they would all be great fights.

Shane is doing what anyone getting close to the end of their carreer should be doing. He's looking for the big money fights. If the money was with Berto or Paul Williams he'd be chasing them. I'm not going to hate on the man.
