Bob Arum, head honcho at Top Rank, has told the media that a Floyd Mayweather vs. Kostya Tszyu bout is not going to happen. On the other hand, he would gladly match rising superstar Miguel Cotto with Tszyu. Regardless of who wants who, the un-moveable hurdles of the exclusive network contracts are the main issues here. Tszyu is with Showtime, Mayweather and Cotto with HBO.

You guys just dont get it. The reason why Arum wont put Floyd in with Kostya is because Cotto is the bigger draw and would make the most money because he's PR. Thats why Floyd doesnt mess with Arum anymore and he's trying to get out of his contract. How many times have Floyd said that Arum doesnt care about him or doesnt promote him. Why would Floyd be scared of Koysta @140 when he was willing to fight DeLahoya @154. Why would Arum be scared Koysta would beat Floyd but not Cotto. He knows Cotto is where the money is. Why do you think he say's that Cotto can beat anyone @140 including Mayweather. I also think Floyd's upset because he thinks Arum going to try to go behind his back and make a Gatti-Cotto fight

finally someone who knows whats up. Man all you guys should know that ****y ass Mayweather (I'm a huge FM fan, BTW) wants to fight the best and believes he can beat the best. These ****in promoters call the shots and make the fights, so when a fighter gets matched up with someone he doesn't want to fight, what does he do? He fights on until he gets the match that he's looking for. You guys need to chill out and look at these corrupt old promoters, they are the ones that are making these crap matchups.

I'm sick and tired of fighters calling out other fighters to no end and then when the fight doesn't happen someone gets accused of running or being too scared. That's what I like about Tszyu, he doesn't talk **** to anyone, it's just business...he goes in there tries to get the deal done and then fights...he's a true professional. Hatton is the guy that pisses me off the most, calling out Tszyu like he deserves a shot. I know he's no.1 contender but why should Tszyu even contemplate a fight with him.

As for PBF, I'm glad arum is protecting him, cos if he ever fought KT he'd have to change his nickname afterwards that's for damn sure!

I'd like to see KT move up, beat spinks then retire...then all the other 140 pretenders can tussle it out for supremacy.
