David Haye vs. Nikolai Valuev Next; Why Not?

Hopefully, Haye will fight a heavyweight some time before the end of this season. It's not his fault he got injured but Wlad didn't want to wait to fight him (which is fair enough) and now there's a chance for someone to be crowned king of the division (which is a good thing IMO).
I just hope Haye looks into other options (any options) with heavyweight contenders whether it means dancing around Arreola, fighting Valuev or somebody else who has there eyes on the belt. He can't sit around all summer and wait, he needs another fight if he can't land a Klit fight straight away. Hopefully he'll be smart and keep active!Comment

agreed. his speed advantage is so big its ridiculous. if he can get well conditioned enough to shadowbox lightly for 12 rounds he will be in good enough shape to move and potshot the slowest man on earth to a UD and a HW title(pains me to say it).Comment

He should face him. Get used to such a big guy, not as big of a puncher so a little safer, get a belt, he'd get a more favourable deal with the Klit's and hopefully Wlad first.
Vitali next is just crazy, he's is huge, iron chin, big puncher - a nitemare for David so early on.Comment

Because of the Thompson fight? That was five years ago when he was still a kid, and in any case he punched himself out. He doesn't use such naive tactics any more. You may as well judge Wlad on the Puritty fight, or the first Brewster fight. He's had no stamina issues whatsoever since then, and in his only decision fight, he won all 12 rounds on all three cards.Comment
