Easily Dunne-Cordoba with it's five knockdowns and come from behind victory in a war for the ages for a 122 pound championship.

Anyone that says different seriously only watches a few American fights.

I like to think this one is like Somsak versus Monshippur in that people didn't get a chance to see it, but it was fight of the year 2006.

Dunne-Cordoba is that kind of battle.

You gotta see it and you will be hard pressed, so far, to find a better fight.

easily dunne-cordoba? it was a good fight but a bit too much holding. I say JMM-Diaz, for the great CLEAN action AND the significance of the fight.

I dissagree jreckoning, I watched Cordoba/Dunne twice and still believe Marquez/Diaz was the better fight with the better ending. Dunne and Cordoba were not throwing the with the same output and the level of the fighters was much lower imo..

Five knockdowns and a come from behind victory trumps JMM-Diaz easy.

Dunne v. Cordoba for me. Both that and JMM-Diaz were great fights, though.

i thought it was way more exciting.

I will agree Marquez is way more talented than the other three guys combined but for me for action, this was the better fight by miles.
