Fights where we unfairly wrote off an old guy too quickly

Cotto/Mosley - Proven by the destruction of Antonio Margarito.
Calzaghe/Hopkins - Proven by the downfall of the invincibility of Kelly Pavlik.

It's kind of strange that we wrote both of these fighters off as a thing of the past when they both lost very close decisions that probably could have gone the other way.

Any other fights in recent memory where this unfairly happened to an older fighter?

Funny thing is, I predicted Hopkins to school Pavlik, but I do agree with Shane-Margarito, I thought Shane would have a shot but no way destroy Margarito.

I had a weird feeling about that one. Especially when I heard Margarito came into camp at 180 plus.

But like the dummy I am, I put a bunch on Margs.

                    Shane is so off/on.
