I don't like to look at other fights like the PBF vs. De La Hoya fight to make a prediction because maybe De La Hoya was better that night or just a better match up. I just look at the two guys and try to make an educated guess.

Floyd fights backing up which is a style if perfected that is very hard to beat, and Manny likes exchange a little more popping combos getting in and out, both have fast hands, but I like Floyd's footwork a little better and he's naturally a bigger guy so I think I would go with him in a decision. I would love to see Manny in a war though because right now he just seems to outclass everybody.

This is the one poster I truly will be concerned about if Pac were to lose to Floyd or anyone else for that matter. Guys like Samurai, Tua and Mak know the game enough to just cheer on Pac and hope he wins, but I'm worried that Ladyfan would be emotionally devastated if Pac were to lose. If the fight does not go Pac's way Ladyfan has to immediately log on and post so we know your ok.

Hes gotta get through JMM first who is a great fighter in his own right, we don't know how the layoff affected him. However, if its the same Floyd we had before retirement... I would pick Floyd.

yea i was gettin a lil worried thinking about the retirement and how could it possible affect mayweather. but hes going to bring his "A" game and i think he will be just as good as ever. I hope JMM makes this a close match

Hopefully, he seemed good in the training video in the other thread, plus he has longer to train until the fight, it is something we will have to wait and see I guess... if he beats JMM a Pacquiao fight is something I would like to see.
