Floyd will take Pacquiao to school. Pacquiao will be soundly outboxed and outpointed by Floyd. JMM did it, Morales did it, and FMJ can easily do it. Pacman is great against anyone who doesn't believe in BOXING, meaning defensive hit and don't be hit fighters such as Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray 1 and 2, and FMJ. He's great against people wanting to slug with him, but let's face it he cannot outbox a great boxer. Everyone has their limitations.

of the greatest fighter of his time. When Floyd first signed to Top Rank, Bob Arum got Oscar De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard to try to mentor Floyd but Floyd said "I'll do my own thing and you do yours"Last edited by GRUSTLER; 06-07-2009, 09:03 PM.Comment

proof or it did'nt happen!Comment

Really? Is that why Bert Sugar said this week that Sugar Ray Robinson vs FMJ who wins was a no hesitation "SRL. No contest, easily" in answering who wins?Comment

If you believe Pac will KO Floyd before the 6 round then obviously
you haven't been watching Floyd or probably just heard of him
while he was retired. Pacquiao is a very good fighter but don't
jump the gun like the guy is going to serve Floyd? Don't see it
happening. The way to beat Pac is to have technique and good
counter punching ability (JMM) Everyone keeps talking about
Pacquiao has improved but we haven't witnessed that because
his last two opponents didn't do anything to test him. We all
know that Floyd ain't no De La Hoya and Hatton.Comment

I sure hope Floyd KO's Marquez, that way the pacman people won't be so confident. I think Pacman is an Excellent fighter and his name has been in my favorite boxers list since I joined the forum, but Mayweather is just the best and he will beat them all. No one else in the game has his skillset...Comment

Proof
Arum started working with Mayweather after he turned pro, following the 1996Olympics. When the promoter saw the 19-year-old's smile and effervescent personality, he envisioned the next Sugar Ray Leonard. In fact, he enlisted Leonard to mentor the young Mayweather on how to sand the rough edges and create a champion the public could embrace.
But it never took. Early in his career, Mayweather found himself in a private jet with two other Arum clients—Leonard and De La Hoya. The would-be mentors understood that polishing an image makes a fighter a more bankable draw, both during and after his career (see page 56). They saw Mayweather's promise and gave him suggestions on how to dress and how to handle the media. "You can be the next Sugar Ray Leonard," De La Hoya told him. "Keep winning and keep smiling."
Recalling the conversation now, De La Hoya says, "I was talking, but I knew it was pointless. It was going in one ear and out the other."
The message from Mayweather was clear: You do your thing, and I'll do mine. The etiquette lesson ended with De La Hoya and Leonard talking to each other while Mayweather just stared out the window.

that's what everyone says when they disagree with what they read...you must be new to boxing, you havent seen this fighter,do you honestly believe that, youre not a boxing fan,etc blah blah.....no need to prove you im a boxing fan and floyd will get beaten by pac...period
because I cannot see Floyd getting KO'd by Pacquiao before the 6?
Floyd has NEVER been KO'd EVER and Pacquiao is supposed to KO
Floyd who couldn't even KO JMM Marquez after connecting and putting
him down 4 times in two fights? Just don't see it happening, but hey
it's fine that you think so but when the time comes make sure me and
you bet on this fight. I'll gladly take all your points.Comment
