Ruslan Chagaev vs. Wladimir Klitschko

Chagaev is difficult to beat, but I think Klitschko will break him down eventually - but to a decision rather than a stoppage - with Chagaev having frustrated him up to that point.

I think Klitschko is too big, both physically and in terms of reach to lose this one, but Chageav is technically excellent.

Here's the thing that fascinates me...

If the Wlad who fought Puritty (or any fight pre-Sanders) showed up, Chags would be murdered inside of 5 rounds. Today's Wlad, however, will take the safety-first option and indeed box him for 12 and be done with it.

Regardless, I still think Wlad's cool to watch and will be rooting for him. Since Haye's not around for me to root for, I'll just enjoy the fight anyhow... albeit being less on the edge of my seat.

I don't rate Chagaev. He looked awful last time out and although he beat Skelton comfortably on the cards Wlad would have KO'd the same opponent within 3.

Wlad early or mid fight KO/TKO. If it goes the distance, he thinks he needs the exercise.

Ruslan is a world-class, skillful southpaw with an excellent chin.

This will be a much more competitive fight than a lot of people believe. But I think Ruslan will eventually go down for the first time in his career, after being hurt and slowed down by an accumulation of punches.
