Definitely credit to Cotto. How can he not deserve it? I would love to see the rematch regardless of the outcome.

Depends how bad Margarito looks tbh, if Cotto KO's him it will suggest he is damaged goods because he landed bombs on his chin and didn't fase him in the first fight. I think Cotto wins a decision even if he isn't shot.

the reason those bombs didnt faze him was because he was backing up and getting hurt by margs punches. when marg fought mosley the 1st few rounds he was smiling and coming forward when mosley tagged him too but the difference was he couldnt keep mosley off without his secret weapon. cotto by ko or wide ud

He couldn't keep Mosley off because Mosley's chin is alot better than Cotto's, and Mosley also has also more power. Margarito is still a bad match-up for Cotto, loaded gloves or not. Mosley wasn't getting hit nearly as much as Cotto because he did the one thing Cotto refuses to do.....clinch!

To be honest I believe they won't give Cotto credit just because of Margarito's KO loss to Mosley.

He couldn't keep Mosley off because Mosley's chin is alot better than Cotto's, and Mosley also has also more power. Margarito is still a bad match-up for Cotto, loaded gloves or not. Mosley wasn't getting hit nearly as much as Cotto because he did the one thing Cotto refuses to do.....clinch!

True, Mosley was fighting very well while going back and what i really noticed was that Shane was using very good head movement and throwing from different angles. In a rematch i still see Margarito winning this.

Yep, and he was also hammering Marg's body which took it's toll. Another thing Cotto didn't do. Cotto fought with a really ****** plan though and if he comes up with a more sensible strategy next time I think he'll get the win. I hope he gets a world class coach after the Clottey fight.

If he beats Clottey with a better gameplan then i think he just might be able to take it to Marg, cause i think Clottey is gonna come with the same gameplan. The only thing is I've been watching Cotto fight for a while and he only seems to fight one way, if he changes it up and shows improvement against Clottey then he'll be back on top and possibly ready for Margarito.
